Daybreak – Do you need our help?

If you know or are caring for someone with a mental health problem, memory loss or dementia you and your loved one may benefit if they join one of our Centres.  Ask your Medical Practitioner or any Health Care Professional if you need advice.

Alternatively contact one of our Centres where you can obtain more information and guidance.

Our aim is to treat people as individuals, to improve their feeling of self worth, to restore or increase their dignity and to help them manage on their own. This can be a very worrying, stressful and even frightening time for an affected person. We do all we can to put them at their ease when joining one of our Centres

Daybreak – How to join our Centres

Anyone involved with someone who might need our help can apply to have them join one of our Centres.  This includes Health Professionals or family members and friends.  Even the potential client themselves can apply to join.

The first step is to contact the Organiser of one of the Centres (Click on the day centre link in the menus on the left).  The Organiser will then arrange for an assessment of the person’s needs and preferences before offering them a place.

Transport to and from the Centre will be arranged if needed and tea or coffee plus a midday meal will be provided.  To cover part of the cost of this there is a small daily charge for attending the Centre.
